My blogging career was rather short lived last year when Hazel & I took off on our first BIG adventure to Byron Bay & back with lots of stops along the way. I heavily underestimated how exhausted I would be & the amount of work involved in compiling a weeks worth of excitement into one blog post.
But here I am again, ready to give it another crack, only this time hopefully it will be with shorter more frequent updates (where wifi allows).
So… HERE WE GO!!!
In just under 4 weeks we set off again heading to Victoria (& possibly Canberra) for a 4 week adventure. Nothing booked & no plans (other than catching up with my 27 year old baby boy)
I love travelling like this… a destination in mind but so much room for surprise adventures in between.
This past weekend was spent giving Beryl a good clean out. Getting under the bed, painting the edges of the bed base (something I’ve wanted to do for 3 years), cleaning floors, cupboards & the fridge, sorting, sprucing & basically feeling fresh & tidy.
New linen has been purchased & bed is made.
Beryl is booked in for a service this week & I only need to purchase a few extra supplies, pack food & clothes & we’re ready TO GO!!
I did unfortunately discover a rather nasty pool of water under the floor lining in the passenger side foot well which I’m going to have to deal with (more than likely when I get back) but I guess these are the not so joyful joys of bus life 🤪
And whilst I may have a moist cockpit at the front… I have a lovely cosy bedroom at the back & can’t wait to get back on the road.
